last single digit

i do not know how this happened!!! my first born turned 9...his last single digit. half way to being an adult. it makes me happy and sad all at once. happy birthday grayson! you are a wonderfully, tenderhearted little boy, so very smart and witty and we love you more than you can ever know! wow is all i can say...

1 month

our little man, davis, is 1 month old already! he has been the perfect addition to our family! he is completely adored by everyone...



and especially by his big sister...she loves to help me with him so when i asked her to hold his paci in his mouth to help me for a minute she didn't hesitate. she snuggled up next to him on the floor and ended up falling asleep. this photo just melts my heart ♥.

welcome davis!!!

so my baby will be 1 month old in 6 days and i'm just now finding a minute to post the photos of his birth...that is now my life...pure craziness and no time for anything besides diaper changing, nursing and chasing 3 other kiddos! but i'm loving every minute of these moments that i know pass so quickly! we are so thrilled he decided to arrive 2 weeks early! he was born on may 12 at 11:44 pm. every last one of us is so in love with this new little man! so, without further ado, introducing the newest member of the owens fam...davis brandon owens!!!

myrtle beach aquarium

we got a wonderful, unexpected 5 days at the beach for the kid's spring break! i have to say it was the best time we have ever had as a family at the beach. the best weather, the best relaxing, and the best family time! much needed before baby #4 arrives in 4 short weeks. we took the kids to the aquarium for the first time and they really enjoyed it, especially gavin!

easter

i always have to get the pictures of the kids dressed in their easter outfits. we have the "talk" in the car on the way reminding everyone that they WILL cooperate or else ;) they did beautifully this year and i got exactly what i wanted in the little 15 minute window we had before church. of course, this is not what easter is all about for us...it is a time for us to remember and thank our saviour for the ultimate sacrifice...dying on the cross and raising again so that we may have eternal life!!!

claire has lost another tooth. this time one of the front ones...that darn thing hung on for dear life and every time we looked at her mouth we just wanted to snatch it out! we restrained ourselves and it came out when it wanted to :) her little baby face is forever changed now...why do they have to grow up so fast???
