There is nothing like the sound of excitement in the kids voices on Christmas morning. Claire woke up first and peeked over the railing and started screaming "Santa came" over and over and ran into Grayson's room to wake him up. It was so much fun to watch them tear into their presents and get excited by each one. What touched me more than anything that morning though was after all the gifts were opened Claire looked at us and said, "You know Christmas is really about Jesus' birthday and not these presents". Claire is exactly right. Thank you God for sending your Son Jesus to earth to save us from our sins. Happy Birthday Jesus!!!
Santa left his gifts in the playroom. They each got 3 gifts just like baby Jesus did.
Claire was so excited to get this litter of puppies she saw in the FAO catalog.

Gavin worked on this gift forever! It kept him busy for a while.
I love this little finger working to push the beads around I could eat those little fat fingers. Yum!
Claire also asked for a makeup kit. Boy did she get one.
